Porta22 has begun a renovation process to adapt its facilities to new social, employment and technological challenges. The works started on 22 June and are expected to be completed in December 2026. 

During this period, access to employment services and activities will be provided through Barcelona Activa’s Entrepreneurship Centre and its Headquarters, located at the same address. The Entrepreneurship Centre will host the Porta22 reception for support related to individual activities, such as the Information Point, advisory services, tutoring and the Inclusive Employability Service. 

The Headquarters will host the Porta22 reception for support related to group activities in classrooms, such as the Job Search Space, Barcelona Treball, the Skills School and coaching sessions, as well as psychological support. 

The renovation includes updating technological equipment and adapting classrooms to carry out activities with virtual reality headsets. More spaces for personalised advisory services with greater privacy are also planned, as well as a booth for job interviews, an auditorium, and improvements to the Job Search Space and support for ProVP groups. 

With more than 20 years of experience, Porta22 is updating its facilities to offer a more flexible, inclusive and innovative model, adapted to the needs of the labour market and its users.
