The sixth edition of the programme Impulsem el que fas (We boost what you do) has arrived. Barcelona City Council, through Barcelona Activa, is launching a new call for financial aid for new or existing projects that seek to improve the socio-economic situation of the city. Applications can be submitted from 15th March to 22nd April, both inclusive.

Applicants will be able to obtain a grant of up to 80% of the total budget of their business project and up to 40,000 Euros. In the previous edition, the programme received 629 applications, of which a total of 186 initiatives were funded for a total amount of 3,200,000 Euros.

This year, the grants for Impulsem el que Fas plan to have an initial budget of 2,930,000 Euros for 6 modalities, which we detail below:

• Amunt persianes
• Socio-economic innovation and the Social and Solidarity Economy in strategic sectors and in a territorial way 
• Fostering quality employment in the territory 
• Responsible and sustainable tourism in the territory
• Sustainable food and responsible consumption
• Last-mile urban freight distribution centres
