New call for the Creamedia program to boost creative industry projects

The initiative offers support over a period of four or five months, including training, mentoring, networking, free workspace, and prizes for the best projects.

Barcelona, 25 Mar 2026

Barcelona Activa has launched a new call for the Creamedia program, an initiative that supports entrepreneurs who wish to start projects within the creative and cultural industries, a field that offers growth opportunities in diverse sectors such as visual and plastic arts, television, radio, and software development.

Creamedia provides comprehensive support over a period of approximately four or five months. Participants can access group activities to work on key aspects of their business, such as marketing, operations, or finance, as well as individual mentoring with specialists. The program also includes networking spaces to connect with other professionals in the sector and a free workspace throughout its duration.

The program also includes feedback from participants in previous editions, who highlight the real impact on their projects. Laia Tremosa from Genius explains that “Creamedia offers a path and a structure that covers all aspects of entrepreneurship” and that it has helped them “bring the idea to life” and gain more clarity about how the project could evolve.

At the end of the process, a jury selects the best projects and awards prizes as recognition for the most outstanding initiatives. Sergio Gallegos from Sra Gallery emphasizes that winning the program has given him confidence and resources to push his project forward.

With 21 editions held and more than 320 projects supported, Creamedia has established itself as a benchmark program for entrepreneurship in the creative and cultural sector. Interested individuals can now submit their applications to participate.
