New Call for the Barcelona Fashion Forward
The program offers training, mentoring, and specialized services to strengthen the competitiveness of designers and companies in the textile sector.
barcelona, 13 Feb 2026
A new edition of Barcelona Fashion Forward (BFF) begins, an initiative led by the Barcelona Institute of Culture, through the Disseny Hub Barcelona (DHub). The program supports emerging fashion designers and brands to improve key processes of marketing, communication, and digitalization through informational sessions, specialized guidance, and professional services tailored to the sector's needs.
BFF is aimed at freelancers and companies in Barcelona or the metropolitan area specializing in the design, manufacture, and sale of finished textile products for women, men, children, footwear, or accessories. The program consists of two phases: the first, with 15 selected projects that receive training and mentoring for five months, and the second, for the top 4, with six months of a tailored service plan that includes resources such as showrooms, digital marketing support, and actions aimed at selling directly to the end customer.
The registration period is open until March 1, 2026. To participate, applicants must have at least one person working full-time on the project, have their fiscal residence preferably in Barcelona or the metropolitan area, include creativity and sustainability criteria, and have between one and five years of experience in commercialization.
To submit an application, applicants must complete the registration form and send the required documentation (portfolio or product catalog and CVs of the most involved individuals) to moda@bcn.cat. Once the registration period closes, the selection process for the 15 participants will take place.
Interested individuals can consult the program's guidelines or the informational brochure.
