Barcelona Activa's ThinkNet focused the new work session on the impact of innovation in public policies on citizens. The meeting of the agency's knowledge exchange network was attended by experts and representatives of the public sector and the academic world. The meeting was held in the auditorium of the Escola Industrial, in the old Batlló factory owned by the Diputació de Barcelona (Barcelona Provincial Council).  

Different dynamics were carried out to exchange ideas and knowledge on the impact of innovation on society, new professional profiles, public-private partnerships and the role of the public sector. There was also a debate about GovTech entrepreneurship, the needs and benchmark projects and also the areas of technological innovation in the public sector. Also, successful case studies of companies specialised in the subject were presented and conclusions were reached from the different discussion groups.   

The ThinkNet consists of a meeting space made up of leading people in the fields of employment, entrepreneurship, social cohesion, territorial development and training. A network of professionals who collaborate with Barcelona Activa to analyse the challenges and debates that the city needs to tackle.
