Yesterday marked the first edition of Startup Lab Day, an event that brought together startups currently in incubation, companies that have taken part in incubation programmes over recent years, and individuals connected to entrepreneurship support services. 

The event was created with the aim of becoming an annual meeting point to strengthen ties within the entrepreneurial community, generate new synergies, and consolidate a collaborative network among the different entrepreneurial projects that have been part of the city’s innovation ecosystem. 

During the event, a report was presented analysing the evolution of startups supported over the last ten years and highlighting the impact of support services on their development and growth. The report provides an overview of the companies assisted, outlines the contribution of resources such as incubation programmes, support in accessing funding and talent acquisition, and showcases success stories in fields such as health, deep tech, data, sustainability, and the creative industries. 

The programme also included a panel discussion featuring startup founders, who shared their experiences and key lessons learned throughout their entrepreneurial journeys, as well as an inspiring keynote on technology, supercomputing, and artificial intelligence. 

The gathering provided an opportunity to reconnect companies from different generations, exchange experiences, and showcase the strength of the entrepreneurial network built over the years. It also fostered new connections between startups, encouraged knowledge sharing, and reinforced relationships across the city’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
