The BIZ Barcelona and Employment Fair congresses are about to arrive. The two fairs will be held between 4th and 5th October and will repeat being together in the Montjuïc venue of Fira de Barcelona. Barcelona Activa will maintain a prominent role there with advice spaces, presentations of the services offered by the agency and talks on specialised topics.

BIZ Barcelona will once again be reformulated as the benchmark congress businesses, SMEs and self-employed people in the city. This year's edition will be highlighted for focusing on three challenges for companies: digitalisation, sustainability and purpose. Different talks, company pitches and service presentations will be organised from Barcelona Activa.

In relation to the digitalisation challenge that many companies face, the agency will give a talk about the service of Support for Digitalisation Processes of Business and for getting the Kit Digital. There will also be discussion about sustainability and to present the Oficina de la Transició Energètica (The Energy Transition Office) promoted with PIMEC, as well as the Premises with Energy grants. And regarding business, the new project, Barcelona+B, will be announced, focused on promoting collaboration between the city's stakeholders to improve their social and environmental impact.

In the case of the Employment Fair, Barcelona Activa will have its own stand where different activities will be organised, but also other spaces. The fair offers up to five different spaces to adapt to what each person needs: 'Informa’t', 'Orienta’t', 'Descobreix', 'Prepara’t' and 'Oportunitats professionals'. In addition, there will be initiatives such as Talent Map, training in programming and data management IT Academy and the professional courses of Reskilling sectorial.
