Barcelona Activa has opened applications for a new edition of the B-DeepTech programme, an initiative designed to boost startups and projects working with disruptive and deep tech technologies. This call aims to support these initiatives in their early stages, providing them with the necessary resources to accelerate their growth and consolidation in the market.

B-DeepTech is a specialised support programme that, in collaboration with Impulse to Grow, offers participants the guidance they need to develop their technological solutions. The programme targets initiatives that use advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, robotics, biotechnology, blockchain and other disruptive innovations. Selected projects will receive expert advice and personalised mentoring to ensure their ideas are viable and competitive in the market.

B-DeepTech participants will have access to specialised training, personalised support and connections with the innovation and research ecosystem. In addition, the programme facilitates access to deep tech talent networks and funding opportunities, opening up new possibilities for growth and expansion for participating projects. To date, more than 90 projects have taken part in the programme, 72% have created their own company and 50% have launched a product on the market, contributing to the dynamism of the city’s technological ecosystem.

With this new edition, Barcelona Activa reinforces its commitment to promoting innovation and entrepreneurship in the deep tech sector, one of the areas with the greatest growth potential in the global technology landscape.
