The 2025 Employment Fair is here to connect talent and companies
Advice, practical workshops and interviews with companies to open the doors to new job opportunities
, 23 Sep 2025
On 15th and 16th October, 2025, a new edition of the Employment Fair is starting at the Montjuïc venue of Fira de Barcelona, the leading event to promote quality employment with vocational and training resources. The show is aimed at both people who want to promote or redirect their professional career, and companies that want to attract talent and make connections with new professional profiles.
The Fair counts on four main spaces principals, designed to improve employability through services and an extensive programme of activities. The Advice area will provide guidance and employment resources, while the Training area will present the tools to acquire the necessary skills and competencies. The third area, Job Search, provides advice and training to successfully overcome the different stages of the selection process.
The fourth space, Job Opportunities, will be dedicated to giving visibility to the sectors with the most projection and putting talent in contact with companies in the local ecosystem. It will do this through its own stands, sectoral monographs, networking sessions and talent marketplaces, with the aim of promoting interaction, strengthening visibility and facilitating the recruitment of professional profiles.
One of the highlights will be the Barcelona Activa stand, which will include an initial attention space to connect with the municipal agency's portfolio in employment matters, topical corners and interview and skills training experiences with artificial intelligence and virtual reality. The proposed activities of its agora offer sessions on the latest developments in its portfolio of services for professional development, as well as trends and training opportunities.
Furthermore, the fair will feature the Youth Zone, a space promoted by Barcelona City Council, through Barcelona Activa and the Social Rights, Education and Life Cycles Area. This space aims to facilitate the incorporation of young people into the labour market and accompany them at the beginning of their professional careers. It will offer personalised advice tables, virtual reality glasses to experience different professions and a recreational area to encourage networking.
Last year the Fair brought together more than 9,000 visitors, with 179 speakers, 108 scheduled activities and more than 3,000 individual consultations, consolidating itself as the reference meeting point for employment and professional development in Barcelona.
Access to the fair is free of charge and can be formalised through the website. The show will coincide once again with Bizbarcelona, the benchmark event for commerce and the city's self-employed.
Register free of charge and take advantage of the opportunities offered by the Employment Fair.
