With the return to work and training activities, Barcelona Activa resumes its offer this September technical-vocational training and official certification, free of charge and oriented to the real needs of the labour market. The aim is to improve employability and strengthen the professional profiles of citizens through training.
Reskilling aims to update knowledge and skills so that people can better adapt to the demands of a constantly changing job market. On the one hand, the courses, Sectoral reskilling, They are aimed at providing practical and immediate knowledge in the sectors with the most opportunities in the city, such as the green and circular economy, industry 4.0, logistics and health and life sciences. They are short-term and free vocational training courses in onsite, online or hybrid formats.
On the other hand, Reskilling languages offers English, French and German courses in collaboration with the Official Language Schools (EOI) and in a mostly online format. The offer ranges from level A1 to C1, with options for sectors, for young people and for preparing for official exams. At the end of the course, you will obtain a certificate of achievement of the level taken.
The Certificates of professionalism are officially recognised qualifications that accredit the skills to practise a profession and that are obtained by passing the corresponding training. In collaboration with the Barcelona Education Consortium (CEB) and the Catalan Employment Service (SOC), these programs facilitate contact with companies and promote professional networking, thus offering a direct route to job reorientation and access to new jobs.
Within this offer, 2 sectoral programmes stand out. Firstly, the course for young people from Sports centre facilitator monitor (ROPEC), with which the mandatory accreditation is obtained to practise professionally in the sports development sector. Specialised training is also offered in areas such as artificial intelligence, professional use of social networks, cybersecurity or SEO language, among others. In addition, training capsules are offered to learn how to master applications and programs such as Illustrator, Python or AWS.
