Barcelona Activa's Think Net continues to advance and to debate the city's strategic sectors and the city challenges it faces. On 6th October, the knowledge exchange network made up of professionals and experts from the city held its third meeting. The meeting focused on debating and reflecting on the present and future of the strategic Deep Tech sector, the challenges it faces and which success stories stand out, among others.

The day counted on the participation of ecosystem experts and Think Net members who also participated in the Barcelona Deep Tech Summit, with Aleix Valls, Pere Condom, Yolanda Pérez, Anna Grau, Carles Trenchs and Ramon Gras, amongst others. The founder of the company NIVD World, Sònia Trigueros, also attended, and she explained her entrepreneurial experience and the successful case study of her project.

Barcelona Activa provides support in the growth of the Deep Tech sector and the positioning of Barcelona as a benchmark in the scientific and technological sectors. To strengthen both areas, the agency launches specific services and programmes such as Deep Tech Node and also, with the holding of events like the one above-mentioned Barcelona Deep Tech Summit.

The Think Net of Barcelona Activa consists of a regular meeting space with the presence of 24 members, experts and references from very diverse but strategic sectors in the city. The project seeks to address new challenges in employment, economic sustainability, entrepreneurship and innovation.
