The third edition of the Barcelona Fashion Forward - Impulsamos tu marca de moda (We boost your fashion brand) is up and running. The programme aims to accompany emerging fashion designers and brands with a specialisation in the manufacturing, design and marketing of finished textile products for men, women, children, accessories or footwear. The initiative is promoted by Barcelona Activa and Barcelona City Council with its headquarters in the Design Hub Barcelona.

The registration period opened on Tuesday, 21st December and will last until 30th January. In the previous two editions, 14 local projects were promoted and, once the process for submitting applications is completed, 10 new companies or self-employed people will be selected to participate in the two phases included in the programme.

In the first period, the ten selected projects will be able to participate in 60 hours in training capsules and 19.5 hours of personalised mentoring. The contents of the group sessions will focus on areas such as commercial and distribution plans, marketing and e-commerce strategies, amongst others. Each project will also receive an individualised accompaniment to foster the acceleration process.

After the training period, the best 4 projects will be selected to access the second phase. A phase in which an ad hoc service plan will be created for each participant based on the needs of the brand for a period of 6 months. The support will focus on promoting digitalisation and marketing to the end-users and on the improvement of the sales showroom and communication services.
