Between 15th and 17th November, Barcelona hosted a new edition of the smart urban solutions fair, the Smart City Expo World Congress. The City Council participated with its own stand, where it exhibited around forty innovative projects to show its commitment to leading the ecological and digital transition.

For three days, applications that improve people's daily lives and initiatives for the digitalisation of citizen services and urban management were shown. Projects underway to shape a greener city with more sustainable and intelligent mobility were also presented, within the framework of Tomorrow Mobility.

Barcelona Activa was very present on the municipal stand and presented the project Connectio. It is a business platform aimed at small, medium-sized and large companies, with the aim of connecting innovation opportunities with companies in the local ecosystem that offer differential solutions.

The City Council's stand also counted on the presence of 10 innovative companies, users of Barcelona Activa services or incubated in the agency's facilities that promote projects in the city: Sensotran, Columat, Herta Security, Witrace​, Geoda Solar, Smart Data System, Datactions, Qood, ​One Mind and Ctrl 4 Enviro.
