Barcelona Activa's incubators offer activities, programmes and workspaces to support the creation and growth processes of companies, start-ups and entities. Services that have become home to successful projects that are gaining recognition in recent weeks such as Beder, Oniria Therapeutics and Novapedra. Three projects that have recently stood out for having received funding and recognition. 

In the case of Novapedra, it has just won the best business idea award from the magazine Emprendedores. The project, participating in the Barcelona Activa programme Mature ideas, has been recognised for its commitment to the reinterpretation of traditional ceramics, with the use of organic waste to create sustainable handicraft items. 

Oniria Therapeutics has received €964,000 from the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities of Spain to develop an activator of the TET2 drug. The specialist company in cancer treatment research is hosted in the Glòries Incubator and was also part of the Mentor in Residence programme and the Barcelona Deep Tech Summit. 

Regarding Beder, a start-up that offers a travel app inspired by TikTok, it has managed to get €490,000 in the first round of funding. The company is also housed in the Glòries Incubator and has secured more than 100 investors to improve technological development

More than 1,500 companies have already been incubated in Barcelona Activa's innovation environments, with an 80% survival rate in the fourth year and successful companies that have been part of it, such as HolaLuz and Heura.
