The lights go out and a new edition of Mobile World Congress and 4YFN comes to an end, the trade fair of entrepreneurship and start-ups, with a feeling of a return to normal. The joint edition of the two fairs in 2022 has had an attendance of 60,000 people and an economic impact on the city of 240 million Euros. The 4YFN space within the event included the participation of more than 600 emerging companies and enterprises.

The event lasted for four days full of activities, inspiring lectures, talks and information sessions. The trade fair featured events in sectors such as the blue economy, female and digital talent, entrepreneurship, business investment in new projects and mentoring innovative initiatives.

This year, Barcelona Activa participated with its own stand where we carried out all the networking activities and information sessions, such as the presentation of the new model of entrepreneurship of Barcelona Activa. In addition, we had two areas that included a food show and a showroom with gastronomic and innovative products from some of our start-ups such as Proppos, Eos Connectivity, Bronze, IncaptoCoffee, Voilà and Lov Ferments.

The trade fair also allowed us to promote incubated companies and participants in our programmes and services. To do so, Barcelona Activa accompanied a total of 20 emerging companies advised by the agency in 4YFN, from sectors as diverse as communication, gastronomy, science and technology, amongst others.

We would also like to thank all the people who have collaborated in the activities organised by Barcelona Activa during the four days of the fair. We hope to meet up again in the next edition with new activities, workshops and innovation. Here's a summary video of this year's 4YFN.
