To project and boost emerging fashion brands designed in Barcelona. This is the aim of Barcelona Fashion Forward, the programme promoted by Barcelona City Council through Barcelona Activa and the Design Hub. A business initiative aimed at professionals specialsed in the design, manufacture and marketing of women's, men's and children's textile products, as well as footwear or accessories. 

The programme reaches its fifth edition and will accompany fifteen different projects. Barcelona Fashion Forward provides tools for emerging designers that incorporate criteria of sustainability and innovation. The initiative provides training sessions, personalised support and financing services. 

To be able to participate in the next edition, companies must prove an experience in the market of between 1 and 5 years. They must also have at least one person dedicated full-time to the project. At the end of the programme, a jury of different local institutions, experts in design and fashion, choose the winners of each call. Carlota Cahis, Sabinis, We are Apron and Love by Ksenia were the awarded initiatives in the previous edition.
