Barcelona’s industries of the future need new professional, qualified individuals who have up-to-date training and are adapted to the current situation. In response to this demand, Barcelona Activa has opened a call for highly specialised training in three of the city’s sectors with the greatest potential: 3D animation for games and interactive learning, electric mobility and the promotion of labour integration.

This training is directed at people between the ages of 19 and 29 who hold a degree or an advanced vocational qualification and reside in Barcelona. Students will also receive intensive and collaborative support in their search for a job, which will include meetings with businesses and attending recruitment events, making integration into the labour market easier.

Barcelona Activa’s specific services for young people

Aside from the training programmes, Barcelona Activa offers a wide range of support services, training and resources for young people who are looking for a job, who want to train, start up a business, grow professionally, or even those who want to reinvent themselves professionally.

Particularly noteworthy is the Professional coaching for young people service, which consists of a programme made up of four sessions which trains and prepares people between the ages of 16 and 35 who are looking for a job or looking to grow professionally. Barcelona Activa also offers a personalised advice service for young people which has different service points around the city.

Furthermore, the Barcelona Treball Joves online activities are virtual sessions run by technicians and experts, which are aimed at those looking to improve their professional profile. Lastly, the Business-Employment Platform is a digital space managed by Barcelona Activa where users can register their CVs and apply to job offers.
