Mentors who help other people over 50 to find work. Under this premise, the Mentoring+ programme has been launched, an initiative that is starting a new edition with the aim of reactivating the job search of unemployed people in the city of Barcelona. The project lasts approximately 4 months and the next editions will take place during the month of September in onsite and online format.

Mentoring+ offers an itinerary of group activities that includes job search training, personal skills development and group coaching sessions. The programme also incorporates individualised support throughout the process given by mentors. The relationship fosters the expansion of the relational network and resources for looking for work and helps to increase motivation and commitment towards the job search.

The new edition of the project enters the phase of looking for new mentors who, on a voluntary basis, want to build relationships with people looking for work. The mentors act as a key figure for the programme, since throughout the process they offer coaching in a trusted and fully personalised space. In addition, the people looking for work will be able to meet when they need to do so, with the assigned mentor.
