The IOT Solutions World Congress 2022 has been a success, with 12,000 attendees, 330 exhibitors and 270 speakers. Under the slogan "Barcelona, boosting a more digital and sustainable industry", Barcelona Activa has participated in the trade fair accompanying around twenty emerging companies that are making a difference in various areas related to the Internet of Things:

AEInnova, Amalfi Analytics, Bestplant, Bim 6D, Code Factory, Ctrl4 Enviro, Incapto, Industrial Shields, Inovum, Mobile knowledge, Nakire Technologies, Pervasive Technologies, RCM Software, Sensotran, Sige, Smalletech, SmartDataSystem, SmartMonkey, Thingtia and Tic Tap.

With a 390m2 stand, Barcelona Activa has hosted different Tech Tours to industrial and foreign companies and the pitches of start-ups related to the agency that make their solutions known to the world.   
Furthermore, the different support programmes for entrepreneurs and businesspeople with IOT projects have been presented, such as the industrial prototyping service of the Parc Científic and the Business funding service.

Information was also provided about the digitalisation programme of the industrial estates of the polígons industrials de l’Eix Besòs and the participating companies were able to receive their diploma. This initiative, which is part of the Barcelona Green Deal, Barcelona City Council's action plan for 2030 with the aim of promoting a more sustainable, connected and competitive city. In addition, the companies participating in the programme, in its 2020-2021 edition, received their corresponding diplomas.
