The Maritime Museum will host the tenth edition of Barcelona International Community Day, the meeting of the city's international community ecosystem. The conference, organised by Barcelona City Council, will be held on 28th October and will include workshops and talks. In addition, a fair will be held with companies, entities and associations that offer products and services for people from all over the world.

The annual event has established itself as the main welcome and networking space for international professionals living in the city. Barcelona Activa will be organising different activities to make known everything it offers for international talent and, specifically, the services of the Barcelona International Welcome.

Throughout the day, Barcelona Activa will have a stand where the programme Retorn amb Oportunitats (Return with Opportunities) will be presented, an initiative aimed at talent who have emigrated from Barcelona and want to return to work and live in the city. There will also be an advisory service for finding work in Barcelona that will advise you on how to access the labour market and allow you to upload your CV on the plataforma Empresa-Ocupació (the Company-Employment platform).

At 11.45am, the talk "Professional retraining as a way of life" will be held, in which we will discuss from a personal perspective how a process of professional reorientation is experienced and which elements affect it, such as the labour market situation. At 2.30pm the session "Designing the best strategy to find a job" will be held in which the resources and guidance offered by Barcelona Activa to maximise job opportunities will be presented. Tools, tips and strategies will be put forward to help people find work and learn about trends in the local labour market.

During the afternoon, the activities of Barcelona Activa will continue at 4:30 pm with the talk "Do you know the Welcome Desk?", a presentation of the service. The activities will continue at 5 p.m. with the presentation "What's the best CV for the job I'm looking for?", a session focused on preparing the best curriculum according to each person's needs. At 5:30 pm the workshop "Want to start a business? Barcelona Activa is here to support you", will also take place in which we will explain how to create a company and what services you have available to take your business forward.
