The Palau Blaugrana will host a new edition of JOBarcelona, the international benchmark conference on employment and professional guidance for university and junior degree holders and students of Higher Education. The meeting will be held on 27th April and will focus on connecting young talent with the needs of companies.

Barcelona Activa will participate for the tenth consecutive year with its own stand of 40 square metres. The agency will offer several information sessions on topics related to the world of work, professional guidance and work trips. The stand will have an area where personalised advice will be given on training and employment services for youths and also a space where the Company-Employment Platform will be promoted.

Throughout the day, the Barcelona Activa stand will also host a set of activities and talks to find work and prepare attendees for the job search process, sign on and book your place:

• 11am – Networking: more than making and maintaining contacts

• 12 noon – Get organised in a new, multitasking environment

• 1pm – Job search with Instagram and TikTok

• 2pm – Escape Room: Define the job search plan and pass a group selection process

• 4pm – ChatGPT for job search in 10 steps

• 5pm – The keys of your Elevator pitch

• 6pm – Escape room: will you take up the challenge to deactivate the key in the selection process?

An event will also be organised of marketplace with Leroy Merlin, MediaMarkt Saturn GBS, Fundació Pere Tarrés and Port Fòrum. Candidates pre-selected by Barcelona Activa will participate and will carry out interviews with companies.
