The challenges do not stop at CONNECTIO and the platform has just launched new ones in the sectors of health, food safety and streaming tools. The open innovation initiative is aimed at small, medium-sized and large companies and aims to connect innovation opportunities with companies in the local ecosystem that offer differential solutions.

CONNECTIO encompasses innovation opportunities for companies and very diverse areas. For example, Familia Torres, a winery with a long history, has asked for a solution to improve food safety during bottling. Specifically, the family business is looking for ways to detect foreign bodies inside wine bottles so that they do not reach consumers.

The pharmaceutical laboratories of Austrian origin Gebro Pharma has also presented a new challenge on the platform. The company with a presence in Catalonia asks how, through artificial intelligence, content on innovation applied to the health sector, health tech and digital health, could be searched for and generated.

The solution required by the technological platform GPAINNOVA differs completely from the other two. The company considers how underwater cameras could be adapted and optimised when streaming videos. The goal of the solution should focus on correcting the colour of the image and counteracting the cloudiness of the water.
