On 11th May, the Final Gala was held of the programme Work with Values 2022-23 (previously Starting up with Values), which is part of the Professional Life Project or ProVP, of Barcelona Activa academic and professional guidance for young people.

Work with Values has been in operation since 2009. 190 educational centres have already attended, mostly from the city of Barcelona, and a total of 692 students have participated. The aim of the programme is to spread the values towards work and the entrepreneurial spirit, present throughout the young person's professional career.

In all editions, there have been inspiring talks by leading people such as Jan Riera (from the Catarres), Joan Dausà, Roger de Gràcia, Núria Gago or Jaume Sanllorente, among others. In this edition, composer and law graduate Marïe Pratt shared her professional projects, full of personal values such as initiative, perseverance and professional ethics. In addition, she performed a musical work.

The three finalist centres of the current edition (Institute Manolo Hugué, Center López Vicuña and Escola Virolai), from a total of 12 participants, presented their projects, selected for their fulfilment of SDGs, gender equality, education of quality, reduction of inequalities, etc. Of the three, the winning centre was Escola Virolai, for its 'Sustainable School Plan' project.

The programme, aimed at students from secondary education, high school and vocational training centres, organises different activities to highlight the work of young people in the field of professional projects. The municipal agency organises it with the collaboration of the Consorci d’Educació de Barcelona, the Fundació d’Empresaris de Catalunya FemCAT and the Fundació BCN Formació Professional (Barcelona Vocational Training Foundation).
