For the first time, BizBarcelona and the Saló de l'Ocupació will be held jointly, from the 21st to the 23rd of September, with a new hybrid face-to-face and digital format. A two for one designed to help reactivate entrepreneurship, the business fabric and job opportunities in the city, and to help working people, entrepreneurs, the self-employed, companies and start-ups transform and adapt to the new reality.

In addition to the usual spaces for entrepreneurship, innovation and networking, both shows will host a wide range of activities and feature new initiatives, such as the shared Talent Arena, which will serve to stimulate both employment and the creation of new businesses. It will also act as a meeting point for entrepreneurs, the self-employed, large companies, SMEs, and local talent looking for new employment opportunities.

Furthermore, attendees will be able to get advice on how to access the world of work, attend practical sessions and workshops, and generate contacts with companies.

Engaging companies and entrepreneurs is critical to achieving the goals of the 2030 Agenda. That’s why the event will maintain its social commitment by ensuring public and private resources will be focused on helping those wishing to start or develop sustainable businesses that can help to generate balance in the city. BizBarcelona will also incorporate the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into entrepreneurial and business activities, analysing their implications, as well as the opportunities and challenges they present.

As a result of the exceptional circumstances we find ourselves in, this year's edition will have to meet all the necessary covid-19 safety measures. For this reason, the 2020 show will have a new hybrid format incorporating both in-person and digital activities.
