Barcelona Activa has celebrated the presentation of the 10th edition of the Barcelona Award for Innovative Business in Organisation and Use of Time. The event included spaces for debate and dialogue on the use of time in the workplace and with the participation of award-winning business professionals from previous editions. The initiative aims to recognise the work done by companies and entities in relation to the reconciliation of professional and family life of their teams.

The recognition forms part of the Time Agreement, a strategy promoted by Barcelona City Council to achieve a municipal commitment towards healthier uses of time. In addition, this year Barcelona has become the first city to act as the World Capital in Time Policies.

The tenth edition has awarded the following four organisations in the categories of micro, small, medium-sized and large company: 

• Advantage Consultores, for the implementation of a 4-day working week.

• Ingecal, for the promotion of measures and boosting the protocol for the right to disconnect.

• Som Fundació, thanks to the self-managed flexibility of the working day.

• Web Help, due to the measure of ‘Social Parenting’, which facilitates the creation of support networks beyond the family sphere.
