The Barcelona Activa Technology Park hosted the Insertion Day for the people participating in the Comprehensive Hiring Projects (PIC). An event that served to recognise the work done by the people who use the programme, who have been working on municipal initiatives of community interest. 

In the 2023 edition of the PIC, 644 people participated in the programme in around 150 projects in 32 municipal areas. According to the data from the 2022 call, more than half of the people who formed part of the projects found work during the 6 months after the end of the contract. 

The people participating in the PIC have worked in very different areas, such as improving the quality of Barcelona's public space and revitalising neighbourhood life to increase the quality of life for citizens. They also accompanied neighbours when carrying out electronic procedures with the aim of reducing the digital gap and have worked to fight against the tiger mosquito.   

The event focused on enhancing the options of finding work for all the people participating in the programme. For this reason, 33 workshops and short sessions specialised in topics related to the job search were organised. A Marketplace was also held with different companies related to Barcelona Activa that offered up to 70 vacancies and job offers.
