The agency launches a communication campaign to inform about the facilities in the district and what programmes the public can find there

Barcelona, 28 Mar 2023

After reaching the homes of Nou Barris, the campaign of Barcelona Activa on the services to citizens and the companies it offers, continues in Ciutat Vella. The agency is carrying out a survey to inform about the programmes and activities it offers and which people and businesses in the district have access. The initiative is part of the campaign 'Barcelona Activa connects you' which encourages the use of services to find a job, train, start up or promote a business.

Barcelona Activa promotes the action in order to publicise all the facilities where it is working throughout the district. The benchmark space in Ciutat Vella is The Convent, dedicated to accompanying young people in their search for work and professional improvement. It hosts training and employment services and all kinds of activities for young people and, in addition, it offers attention and employment services for all citizens. In fact, the Labour Rights Defense Point (PDDL) has changed location and has also been installed in The Convent.

The agency also has other facilities in Ciutat Vella. The Economic Activity Help Desk also has a new space and you can now find the Oficina d’Atenció Ciutadana (Citizen Attention Office) of the district. It offers services and advice for shops, companies, entities, the self-employed and entrepreneurs. There are also different Cibernàrium Satellites in the district where you can take short-term technological training: at the Francesca Bonnemaison Library and the Movistar Centre of Plaça Catalunya.
