Barcelona Activa works to turn entrepreneurs’ projects into viable companies. The agency celebrated World Entrepreneurship Day by promoting advisory services, training and resources to create and grow sustainable and quality companies. 

Within the framework of the commemoration of the World Day, Barcelona Activa's director of entrepreneurship, Itziar Blasco, took part in the roundtable 'Entrepreneurship with impact on the tourism sector'. An event that was part of the annual conference organised by the Barcelona Travel Hub. 

In addition to the annual milestone in the calendar, the agency permanently promotes programmes to strengthen the entrepreneurial community and to boost strategic sectors for Barcelona's economy. Furthermore, entrepreneurial projects in the city have the option of being hosted in one of the six incubation spaces that it offers: the incubators of Glòries, MediaTIC, Almogàvers, the Technology Park, La InnoBAdora and the Clota Cotreball.
