A new edition of Barcelona Fashion Forward is back. This is a programme that aims to support and boost emerging designers and fashion brands, specialised in the design, manufacture and marketing of finished textile products for women, men, the children's sector, footwear or accessories.

This is an initiative promoted by the Design and Creative Industries Promotion Department of Barcelona Activa and Barcelona City Council, based at the Design Hub Barcelona.

The programme aims to cover the different needs of this group; providing support in the optimisation of processes, offering tools and methodologies to improve their professionalisation, through training sessions, personalised coaching and other professional services.

The selection of participants goes through a two-phase process. In the first of them, 15 selected companies benefit from group training short courses and personalised mentoring for 5 months. Once this period has ended, the second phase begins, in which only 4 companies or resulting designers will participate.

Unlike previous years, this 4th edition will have more participants, and the number of hours dedicated during Phase 1 will be modified; with a total of 45 hours of group short training courses and 14 hours of personalised mentoring.

For all those people or companies interested in participating in Barcelona Fashion Forward, we welcome this new edition on 15th December, with the call open until 22nd January 22 at 11:59 p.m.
