Barcelona City Council, through Barcelona Activa, is launching a new financial subsidy under the name of ‘Premises with energy’. These grants are intended for investments that facilitate the sustainability and energy efficiency of establishments with economic activity, located on the ground floor and/or at street level in Barcelona.

The amount of the subsidy will be calculated according to the expenses justified at the time of the application, up to a maximum of €3,000 for each premises, with a total of €9,000 in three independent premises.

With this programme expenses can be deducted such as: modification of access doors from the street, windows and glass with the installation of thermal insulation systems, improvement and optimisation of the energy efficiency of internal lighting and external to the establishment, acquisition of temperature regulation and control systems and implementation of energy consumption monitoring systems, among other aspects.

The call is aimed at people (natural or legal) who are owners of commercial activities, services, restaurants and nightlife in establishments on the ground floor and/or at street level in the urban fabric of Barcelona. In addition, only invoices issued from 1st August, 2022 to 31st October, 2023 will be eligible.
