Barcelona Activa creates a Think Net to boost new public policies

The agency launches a network for exchanging knowledge made up of experts who tackle challenges in employment, economic sustainability, entrepreneurship and innovation

Barcelona, 31 Mar 2022

Barcelona Activa launches the Think Net project. This is a network for the exchange of knowledge made up of experts and leading figures in Barcelona Activa’s fields of action to boost new public policies. The aim is to tackle challenges related to youth employment, economic sustainability and new business models, amongst others.

The new initiative aims to generate a positive impact and in terms of well-being on the city of Barcelona. The meeting space will reflect on the five strategic axes of the organisation: digital training and skills acquisition, strengthening entrepreneurship and business competitiveness, protection of work and promotion of quality employment, proximity and social cohesion and promotion of leading projects for territorial and sectoral development.

Think Net aims to facilitate the generation and dissemination of knowledge. The goals of the network are to anticipate economic trends, foster public or private alliances with the socio-economic fabric and to project Barcelona as a benchmark for competitiveness, innovation and sustainability. The first meeting was held on Wednesday, 23rd March in the InnoBA space of Barcelona Activa, and was attended by around twenty leading professionals from the company and the university worlds.
