This data is managed by Barcelona Activa, with registered address at C/ Llacuna 162-164, Postal Code 08018, Barcelona (Spain), on behalf of Barcelona City Council, in accordance with the corresponding collaboration agreement, which establishes the confidentiality obligations that Barcelona Activa will have to respect in the processing of your personal data.
WHAT DATA OF YOURS DO WE PROCESS, HOW HAVE WE OBTAINED IT AND WHY ARE WE PROCESSING IT
We process your personal data, so as to fulfil the public mission of Barcelona City Council as mandated by law, related to the fostering of employment and entrepreneurship, and to send electronic communications about the activities and services that Barcelona Activa carries out, as entrusted by Barcelona City Council, in accordance with its mission.
This data has been provided by you to register in some of the above-mentioned activities or due to prior contacts maintained with you in the field of these activities for fostering employment and entrepreneurship, or on account of the relations maintained by BA with the company or entity with whom you work or collaborate. Specifically, BA may have the following data provided by you:
Identification data: first name, surnames, ID document, sex, date of birth, nationality or country.
Contact details: email address, postal address, telephone number and town or city.
Other necessary data for carrying out our activities: level of studies and labour situation.
Data of economic transactions: data related to the economic transactions for the payment of products or services provided by the interested party if applicable.
Barcelona City Council and Barcelona Activa only process, or will only process, specific category data (data referring to health, religious beliefs, trade union memberships, etc.) when you have provided us with this or given your express consent to do so.
FOR WHAT REASON DO WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA
The processing of your personal data is legitimized to comply with the public interest mission that the Barcelona City Council and Barcelona Activa have mandated by law for the fostering of employment and entrepreneurship, as well as for the fulfilment of our obligations derived from your requests within the framework of the cited activities.
Furthermore, the processing of your corporate contact details will be carried out to maintain the relation of the company, entity or organisation for whom you work or collaborate with and responds to the legitimate interest of our entity, expressly recognised in the regulations on privacy.
The processing of your personal data with the aim of sending you electronic communications is expressly authorised by law and responds to the need to keep you up-to-date with information about the services and activities that Barcelona Activa carries out to foster employment and entrepreneurship and for which you have shown interest or have participated in by means of your registration in our website.
In the case of data processing of special categories, its processing is legitimised by the express consent that you have provided us with, consent that can be revoked in any moment.
TRANSFERS TO THIRD PARTIES
We inform that your data may be provided to public administrations, to strictly comply with the legal obligations to which Barcelona City Council and Barcelona Activa are subject due to their activity, as well as to comply, if necessary, with the obligations derived from their requests in the field of activities to foster employment and entrepreneurship.
In addition, your personal data may be provided to service providers that the City of Barcelona and/or Barcelona Activa have previously signed the confidentiality and data protection contracts with, as required by the privacy regulations.
Barcelona City Council and Barcelona Activa will transfer their data to third parties or companies, provided that this transfer is necessary to comply with the obligations arising from the initiatives related to labour insertion and/or the promotion of entrepreneurship. In any case, before proceeding to transfer the data, you will be informed about the identity of the recipient of your data so that you have the possibility of opposing it.
Barcelona City Council and Barcelona Activa, for the development of their activities, have contracted services from technological providers located in countries that do not have regulations equivalent to European ones (third countries). These providers, with the City of Barcelona and Barcelona Activa, will sign the confidentiality and data processing contracts required by the regulations to suppliers and providers located in third countries, applying the guarantees and safeguards necessary to preserve their privacy.

HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL DATA FOR
Your personal data will be kept while your relationship with Barcelona City Council and Barcelona Activa is maintained and, after the termination of this relationship for any reason, during the statutory limitation periods that are applicable.
Once the above-mentioned relationship with Barcelona City Council and Barcelona Activa has ended, your information will be processed for the sole purpose of complying with, and certifying, the legal obligations.
Once the above-mentioned prescribed periods have ended, your data will be deleted.
