Cibernarium

Cibernarium is the space where you can learn and grow with Internet. More than 1000 m2 of open-access facilities open to all the citizens where a large programme of free short training activities (from 1 to 4 hours each) is offered.
Cibernarium was set up in 1999, with the collaboration of the Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie (La Villette) of Paris, and located in the Barcelona Nord Technology Park. It is made up of a combination of spaces with the aim of promoting the access and the use of Internet in order to increase the opportunities for employment, business creation and innovation.
Cibernarium is organised in 2 training programmes, updated quarterly. Just choose the activities you want and build your own training itinerary which suits your interests and needs

Get started in Internet, capsules and workshops to start in new technologies and digital tools.

Grow with Internet, activities where entrepreneurs and professionals can find out about technology solutions and the tools for website design and multimedia.
You can also extend your knowledge in the new Multimedia Resource Centre, a spectacular room with 6 points of access to an Intranet with more than 130 short-length audiovisuals about the new technologies, simulators of Internet use to practise the basic skills of web navigation and self-training courses.
And finally put into practice what you have learned in the Internet navigation room, where you have computers with free high speed Internet connections and a free wireless connection zone.
Cibernarium also offers Training Itineraries for Groups, activities specially adapted to users with different profiles and needs: schools, associations, professional colleges, companies, institutions, etc, with special emphasis on people at risk of exclusion.
The Training Itineraries last from 2 to 4 hours and combine training actions in the Cibernarium classrooms with guided practice in the Multimedia Resource Centre. Both contents and activities are personalised for each group according to the IT skill to be learnt and the specific users' needs.
